(4 wire)Powerful cooling6 Heat Pipes (three used double sided) are able to transfer heat up to 200 Watt. The heat exchanger is built of 42 fins and consists of a surface area of over 4700 cm2 and allows for resistance free energy transfer to air.Integrated Cooling of Voltage ConvertersAir is drawn in from the side of the fan to cool the components around the CPU. Some air is blown out towards the voltage converters on the mainboard with the bent fins at the bottom. Patented Vibration AbsorptionThe four rubber connectors on the fan case act as a vibration damper to absorb the vibration of the running fan and prevent vibration transfer to the heatsink and the case.

I have a Q8200 overclocked a bit to 2.52GBZ. With this cooler running at max speed (which I have reporting as 2960RPM in CPUID Hardware Monitor), the CPU temp idles in the mid 30s and under 100% CPU load, it runs at around the mid 40s.
This CPU cooler is an excellent buy for its price and can help you (if you have a good overclockable processor) get high overclocks on your CPU.

I have a Pentium 4 2.8Ghz (Plain, one core processor...) With the Q-Fan Enabled in the BIOS, my hard drive makes more noise than this fan does. Without it, CPU temp was at 34°C, but the fan was alittle noisy for my taste. But since i'm not the overclocker type, i will just leave the Q-Fan Enabled... :) Great Product!
