fits my m2n32sli deluxe mobo with adaptor so exhausting to the rear of the case running amd 9750 quad core running temps of 29c idle and 40c full load all cores using scythe 1900 rpm 120mm fan on cooler and in a coolermaster nvidia 690 atx mid case

If you need better performance from a heatsink, you need one that uses a backplate. Simple as that.
No need to lap this one as the engineers thought out the curvature on the base and the lapping is already plenty good.
You should also use this unit with a 120mm fan (of your choice).
Installation is not difficult at all if you take a minute or two to read and sift through the parts they provide you with. You don't need to be an F1 mechanic to set this up. It's also not such a big deal if you need to remove the mobo. Once it's installed, it's final. It works.
It's a good size and not crazy gigantic like some of the other monstrosities out there.
I fully endorse this product: high quality, well engineered and well packaged! I applaud the packaging! Other choice of heatsink I recommend if you do not want a backplate design is the Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro (best bang for the buck in my opinion)
