This HSF is rather nice.

For the price, you get a top performer in air cooling solutions at a fraction of the price. Also, with the supplied anti-vibration 120mm fan, its nearly silent at top speed.

However, if you are on AM2/3 motherboard, the Heatsink will most probably blocks 2 of your 4 memory slots. For the comon Joe, this shouldn't pose a problem. Still a design flaw. Xigmatek supplies the standard bracket way of fixing the Heatsink to the CPU. However, with this method, its impossible to re-orient the Heatsink as to not block memory slots. Sadly, Xigmatek (and all HSF makers) doesn't sell any back plate solutions that are compatible with the AMD board designs.

Also, I have had the same lame issue with 2 of those HSF. When you remove the sticker from the Heatsink base, it will leave a rather thick slice of glue residue. Be sure to remove it before applying thermal paste as it will impair the heat from getting to the copper. I had to lap my base a bit too, as it wasn't perfectly heven.
